NS on the ledge

Of late I was running errands on social media and other stuff to sort out what could have possibly triggered the usually dumb mind of the deposed PM, Mian Nawaz Sharif (NS) to spawn an orchestrated statement right at his political culminating point. There are various scholars and intellectuals who spoke and wrote about what the consequential ramifications could cause us as a nation while we have worked so hard in the last couple of decades in keeping the troubles at bay. But I suppose NS is playing a trump card while being ousted from the political landscape.
He is believed to be an adroit and stubborn player in the politics who can put to reality an Urdu axiom, ham to doobay hain sanam tum ko bhi le doobain gy (With myself drowning, I will not leave you afloat). The kind of quagmire he has already put himself into, he is not likely to bow out of the situation quite easily, that he knows for sure. So he turns to the favourite Almeida for making public his dumb but infuriating comments on an issue which he probably knows nothing about, given the kind of parchi business he has remained prone to in the past as well.

Important aspects are as under:-
A. NS sees no future for himself in view of the deplorable condition of his party and performance over the past.
B. By spewing venom against the establishment, he registers himself as the only stalwart who can undertake the challenge of speaking in their face and that he is the only choice they have to fulfil to get along with in future as well.
C. FATF's decision to tag us otherwise is nearing and such a statement from a deposed and ousted PM speaks volumes in favour of the populist outcry against Pakistan.
D. Recent upsurge of Pashtoon Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) also gets a pat on its shoulder who in the lap of the antagonistic neighbours will get a kick from this statement for pushing their own agenda. NS has also supported or at least shown covert support for the said movement in the recent past as well.
E. Above all, the Indian view on the 26/11 gets toned up, despite being nullified by eminent authors and researchers on the matter. Now this out of the blue rhetoric seems to be aimed at weakening Pakistan's position on the matter. But NS doesn't seem to be a conforming guy anymore.
In short, he is adamant upon proving himself a sadiq (if not amin) while he is already above head and ears in the controversies of corruption elapsed over three decades. In essence he is on the ledge, unaware of his own moves but hoping to play havoc with everything he thinks is incorrigible.
