She pestered him again, this time her right index finger on his lips, "Tell me, Honey. Are you happy to be here?".
He held her right hand, kissed it and said, "How can I not be happy when I am here with you, Love! The point is not coming here, the point is coming here with you. You are like a raindrop which I have waited for like a thirsty desert."
She now held his both hands, entangling his fingers in her own, kissed him on the eyes one by one, and said,
"You're my lighthouse. I am able to see the world in one colour because I have you as my eyes and I see all those colours in the world because I'm by your side. I feel safe with you. I feel alive and I have no fear. If you ask me, I'm the luckiest woman in the world to be your wife."
He asked, "What makes you feel you're the luckiest woman in the world when there are many couples who live happily? After all, I'm a common man."
She kissed him on his lips, while holding his cheeks, raised her head and kissed again. He smiled and said, "Someone may be watching, Love. Don't you feel shy? It's a public place even if there aren't people in our vicinity."
She said mockingly, "If you keep calling yourself a common man, I will keep kissing you here to make you feel special. You know I don't like this word 'COMMON' for you. You're the most special person in the world. And I don't feel shy since no one's watching. And even if someone was watching, I don't care. You're my beloved husband".
He -- still lying there -- held her face in his hands, looked up and said, "I love you my dear, loving, caring and faithful wife. I can't imagine a life without you. I not only need you, I want you as much as you can imagine. Do you remember what we decided till when we'd be together?"
She replied abruptly, "To the end of our days, and even after that." He smiled, kissed her hands and said, "Should we go now?"
She said, "As my beloved wants!"
They both got up and started moving towards the car they had parked few yards away.
